Introduced in this country with a taste test in a Manhattan patisserie over 20 years ago, Cafe La Semeuse then became the first coffee, other than their own, offered by Dean and Deluca and Balducci's.

For the two decades since--quietly surprising and satisfying coffee drinkers looking for a unique taste in coffee-- it has been available only at the finest restaurants and specialty food merchants.  Although you can see here several credentials the coffee has earned, you will never see the coffee in a supermarket.
